Self-adhesive wallpaper, often called sticker wallpaper, has glue already on the back. You peel off the backing paper and press it onto a clean, smooth surface. No paste, no buckets and usually no fitter needed. It is the easiest wall covering to use yourself.
Best places to use it

- Cupboard and wardrobe doors, to refresh old furniture without replacing it.
- Tables, shelves and counters that are scratched or dull.

How to fit it well
- Clean the surface and let it dry fully. Dust and grease stop it sticking.
- Peel a small part of the backing at a time, not all at once.
- Smooth from the middle outward with a soft card to push out air bubbles.
- Cut edges with a sharp blade for a neat finish.
- It sticks best on smooth, painted, wood or laminate surfaces. Rough or powdery walls are not suitable.
