Choosing Jotun paint for outside walls

Exterior walls in Islamabad and Rawalpindi deal with strong summer sun, monsoon rain, dust and cold winters. Interior paint is not made for that, so outside walls need an exterior product.

Jotashield ColourLast

Jotashield ColourLast is Jotun's exterior paint made to hold its colour in strong sunlight. It comes in matt and silk. Matt gives a flat, classic look and hides surface flaws. Silk has a slight sheen and dust tends to wash off it more easily in rain. It is a good choice for boundary walls, front elevations and houses where you want the colour to stay fresh longer.

Easyguard and Easyguard Plus

Choosing colours

You can browse the Jotashield exterior colour card on the product pages. Tintable products are sold as a base and mixed to your code. The final price depends on the colour and tint used, and mixed paint cannot be returned, so check the shade in daylight before ordering. Pack sizes are quarter, gallon and drum where available.

The right system for exterior walls

  • Clean the wall and remove loose or flaking paint.
  • On new plaster, use Jotashield Alkali Resistant Primer. On weak or powdery old surfaces, use Jotashield Penetrating Primer.
  • Fill cracks where needed.
  • Apply two coats of exterior finish.
